Bare Tube Baffled

This image was created using the same setup as the bare-tube example but light from the tube was block in all directions except the one facing the subject by a  black foam-board box.  As a result,  light radiated from the tube over a solid angle of approximately 140 degrees.  The distinct shadow edge is even more visible here.
